$0.00
Sold Out

AWARD WINNING: This wine is tasted by a special jury in order to obtain for the selected vintages a right to be bottled in the special keepsake gold mesh “Nantaise” bottle (limited numbers).

AOP : Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Alc/vol : 12 %

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% MELON (generally known as MUSCADET).

TASTING NOTES:

Dry, fresh and crisp white wine. White slightly amber‐colored.

High expression wine, crisp and fresh, its delicacy and tasting lightness as well as its roundness in mouth are intimately linked with superb structure. Its nose both floral and rich is a promising indication of the quality of the SOLEIL NANTAIS.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

To be enjoyed as a refreshing wine by itself, and pairs especially wonderfully with fresh seafood (oysters, shrimp, mussels, clams) as well as with fresh lemony dishes such as fish keleguen, ceviche, seafood bakes, seafood salads, etc.

Drink cool around 45°F.

Geological characteristic:

Soil made of schist from the primary era composed with gneiss (acidic rock) or gabbro (rich in calcium) depending on the location

Vinification process:

Horizontal press. Alcoholic fermentation under controlled temperature between 18 to 20°. The wine rests on the lees over six months. Acidity: 4,5 g/l ‐ Sulphur : 35 mg/l (indicative measures).
